Proverbs 18:20-21 tells us that [20] A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; And with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. [21] Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Your words can be your tools of healing or your weapons of mass destruction. The evidence of this is In the beginning of, what we know and perceive as, time. The Almighty created Heaven and earth; Life. We can find this in Genesis chapter 1 the story of creation. The Bible tells us that he did it with his, (capital ‘w’), Word. In other words he SPOKE into existence that which did not yet exist. His chosen phrase was “LET THERE BE” and each time he spoke that phrase, whatever followed is what came into existence.

Also in John 1:1-5 it says.

[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

When we see, capital H, Him in the passage it’s referring to The Word. The Word of Yahweh had life already. Not only was the Word with Him, it was Him and through the Word everything that didn’t have life now had it. The word is clearly described as a living functioning being. That carried out the ideas of The Almighty and made them concrete.

Think of a the relationship between a designer and their creative director. The ideas of the designer are filtered through or accomplished through the actions of the creative director.

The creative director takes the words and ideas of the designer and makes them concrete. That’s how I understand this passage.

John 1:14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

Now that we Know Jesus is the Word of God let it be clear how is also the Sword.

Hebrews 4:12 NLT

[12] For the Word of God is ALIVE & POWERFUL. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

The purpose of the Sword:

• The Sword is a weapon used in the spiritual battle against the forces of darkness, helping believers to resist temptation and overcome evil influences.

• Discernment and Truth: It helps believers discern between right and wrong, distinguish truth from lies, and understand God’s will.

• Growth and Healing: The Sword can reveal God’s truth and heal spiritual blindness, enabling believers to see clearly and make sound decisions.

• Offensive and Defensive: It can be used to defend against attacks from the enemy and to take the offensive, actively sharing the gospel and proclaiming God’s truth.

Then in Revelation 1:12-16 KJV

[12] And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; [13] and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. [14] His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; [15] and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. I’ll take it a step further and say that as a child we find joy in what adults can do for us, but as an adult we find joy in what we can do for our children/others.

What is the role of Christian men? Honor and responsibility!

Jesus was making a very valid point in Luke chapter 10; Very similar to the one that Joseph made to Pharoh in Genesis 41. There aren’t enough of us gathering goods, planting seeds, and collecting good crops. However, the harvest Jesus spoke of wasn’t food, but the harvest of eternal life. Our job as leaders is to either plant seeds or water them while Christ produces the increase. How we do that is by spreading the gospel and knowledge of Christ through The Word and our experience(Testimony). How can He increase if we don’t do the work. {Read Luke 10:2} “THE HARVEST IS TRULY GREAT, BUT THE LABORERS ARE FEW…”

There is a harvest coming! In the story of Joseph, he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream. His dream meant there would be 7 years of harvest and then 7 years of famine. Joseph gave glory to God in that he knew interpretation of dreams wasn’t of his own accord, but God who made it clear. Along with giving glory, Abba granted interpretation and Joseph was able to advise Pharoh on how he can preserve the people of Egypt. The story can be found in {Genesis 41:34-36}. He encouraged that Pharoh choose someone he trusts to plant during the good season, then collect 7 years worth of wheat to store away for the people of Egypt for the famine. The goal was that when famine occurred, they would still be able to supply food so no one would starve. Instead of Pharoh finding someone who was already a part of his staff, he appointed Joseph to be the one. In giving Glory to God, by not taking any credit for the gift he was given and serving, not only did Abba grant the interpretation, but he also allowed Joseph to instantly be ELEVATED to a leadership position. Just like he said in Mark 10. We must be servants first before we lead. That revelation was given to me some years back, “In order to lead you must first know how to follow”. Our role as Men who are followers of Christ is that we must prepare for the harvest! We must prepare for harvest naturally for ourselves and our families; spiritually for our Families and for this world. People are missing out on Christ and all that good that comes with being a believer, including the HARVEST.

I will end with this scripture found {Read Luke 10:21-22 NLT}.

We must find Joy as children of God in the gifts, revelation, and interpretation that He give us. At the same time, we must find Joy in being leaders and imparting the gifts, revelation, and interpretation that He gives us to those who are childlike in the faith! WE NEED GOD TO SURVIVE!

Verse 65 then says, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

The revelation in this is that we are gifted an opportunity to be with The Creator. Bruh, It’s like being invited to sit front row at your dream event. To be honest, I’m actually having a hard time putting it into the type of words that would spark your interest like it has mine. The greatest force in all of existence invited me to live in His house; in my own house.

John 14:2 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

The actual end all be all made it so that I had the opportunity to hear about Him and His great wonders. He gave me the opportunity to actually experience His love and provision in my life. Although at times the provision didn’t feel big, or extravagant, it was still his love and provision. That right there was the invite.

To think that some people had to go through actual hell to then be called by Him. Meanwhile here I am born with the golden spoon and I’m ungrateful that I’m not seeing Him do “more”. I was literally born with the invitation. One of my first memories was waking up in the church pew calling for my mother. It’s safe to say that I’ve heard about the gospel of Jesus Christ from birth. That’s when it hit me. That was the invite … BOOM!

The life of a rich kid. To be ungrateful for all my dad has done for me and I’m mad about some million dollars or brand new car. I would hate if my kids were loving me solely upon how much money or gifts I can give them, because I’d rather have them love me for the fact that I’m always there for them showing them love, protection and grace. Same with ABBA:; he wants us to love him without condition.

How much more blessed could I be. Now it makes sense why I’ve had so much grace and mercy when I should be outta here. Simply because he chose me to be one of the ones who was given the invitation early on. All for a story of His grace and mercy from the perspective of someone who had it forever and almost lost it forever. Now it’s my duty to tell a friend to tell a friend. Dad loves you !

None of us can find ABBA by ourselves. He has to be the one to draw us. Through my faith in The Word I release these words and hope that when you read them He draws you.
